Root, Root, Root for the Roman Empire...
So tonight the Yankees decended upon Seattle. The outcome was much to be expected. Safeco was overrun with displaced New Yorkers (which I can forgive...home team, blah blah) and the epitome of evil... Yankees fans from anywhere else. Really, you just pick a team to root for because you belive they will win every time? Where else does that happen?
Is there a TicketMaster fan club?
Do geeks love the Borg for more than their cool make-up?
Do kids grow up and say "I want to work for the IRS"?
And most of all why does Jeter have to fight for supremacy every October while we are stuck with Dubya for another three?
Sigh.
