The pain. The agony. The passion. I know you are all thinking it is to be found on a grassy field these days but the further north you go the more you realize it is on the ice. It might take me a while to recover from last night.

Seriously, though, I saw a co-worker's amateur game and found that there might be something to this hockey thing, so long as I'm at the game and can hear the crunch when people check each other.

I'll give you that the finals are a little off season-wise.
My personal philosophy has been that if you don't get natural ice in the winter then you don't deserve a team. (San Jose this means YOU)
But yes, you should go to a real NHL game. The speed and intensity (Maybe I like it becuase it is the complete opposite of baseball) is intoxicating. And, if you are close enough, you learn that blood bounces on ice...
