Happy Midsummer!
It's been over 90 all weekend and I'm thanking my dear and fluffly lord that I have central air. A few friends of mine are glad I have it as well...Oregonians are simply NOT prepared for this kind of hot.

My source in DC tells me the high Monday is 102 degrees. That's just wrong.
Here's hoping you invite a group of Shakespearean friends over to your cool abode for parlor games, TV, and a long night's dream.

Actually, I held a tedious brief diner party...
The diner, my lord, was some two courses long,
Which is as brief as I have known a meal;
But by two courses, they stayed until almost midnight
Which for non-thespians, would make it tedious
