Minister to the rescue!

Just got a call from a friend in a panic. Seems her sister needs my help and I'll be officiating my second wedding this Saturday (In between a Dar the evening prior and an a Tom Petty about 4 hours after) .

Let this be a lesson to all about waiting until the last minute to find a minister. Plan ahead people!

World Series Time!

The POP CULTURE world series!

I'm just working a quick blog to make sure we're all rooting for PDX 503 who made it on to the next round this evening.

I'm sure I would kick ass if I were to go on this show (seriously, I want Neel and Quinn on my team) but I'd get stuck picking out a team name...too..many...options!!!

That's Reverend K-Lyn

I officially officiated my first wedding. I was not expecting 92 degrees in direct sun or a breeze just enough to make a unity candle impossible. Overall, it went quite well. I even got a groupie (ok, she was 7) that told me I was the prettiest minister she'd ever seen.

OUCH!

My dad just sent me this link today.

All I can say is ouch! But then, I couldn't argue that much. I mean, I'M not cool. I'm not sure I ever was. I'm going to go listen to The Dream of the Blue Turtles and cry now.

Top of the charts

I totally stole this from the radio station I was just listening to on the way home today:

Billboard magazine says the song that was #1 on your 18th birthday influences your life as an adult. Do you believe that?

Here is the website for you to check what song was #1 on your 18th birthday. Post your comment and tell us what song was #1 on your 18th!
http://www.popculturemadness.com/Music/Pop-Modern/1992.html

Just find the year on the right and then look up the date, there you will find what song was #1. you can also check to see what was #1 on the day you were born.

Why, Oh Why???

Ok, I've seen the trailer and blinked it away because it was clearly an SEP but just now I was checking in with glee at the casting for the upcoming Stardust movie (see Neil Gaiman link to the right) when there it was in front of me again...An advert for Clerks II. The making of blog is aptly titled Train Wreck...Seriously, somebody stop them.

George Bush singing "Sunday Bloody Sunday"

I know some people have too much time on their hands but where did the original idea come from?????
