    Yes, indeed. They are giant pumpkins which someone thought to hollow out and put in the water. You'll note some are decorated...because a giant floating pumpkin being paddled my a person isn't enough of an attention grabber...

    And only two. Both parties I was invited to this year fell on the same night.

    It actually got national coverage. A link on the front of either CNN or Yahoo. I'm not sure which.

    They guarded the seeds! They sell for between $10 - $40.
