So it was a search for pictures for the Girly edition that led you to my site? I'm curious to know what search terms you were using. Anyway, on to the solving...

    Top Row: PINK (also HEART)
    Center Row: MR. DARCY
    Bottom Row: GOLD

    Left Column: NECKLACE
    Middle Column: DIARY
    Right Column: HEART

    Slash: MOVIES
    Backslash: BRITISH

Actually, no...I'm a couple puzzles ahead. Not to fear.

But you got 6 outright. That's what Neel gets for sleeping.

The Slash are all movies but I'm looking for something more specific that unites them.

The left column is the obscure one. You do need to know who that is up there in #1 and either be a fan or goggle her. Knowing the answer to the slash could possibly help.

Yes, I was sleeping. Needed to shake the Beowulf from mine eyes.

    Whole lotta Darcy.

357 Slash: CONTEMPORARY MOVIE ADAPTATIONS OF JANE AUSTEN NOVELS -- that specific enough for you?

Left Column: I'm a fan of Lily Allen but I'm not seeing it.

No one in image 7 is smiling.

    One Wikipedia page later...

Left Column: VARIATIONS OF DARCY'S LOVE (Lydia Bennett, Elizabeth Bennet, Lalita Bakshi)

See? I can get my sleep on and still contribute.

Well done on the slash. That is indeed what I was going for.

    Although...Darcy never loved Lydia!!!

To simplify, I was going for Pride & Prejudice. Lily is filming a new version, the Colin Firth version, and Bride & Prejudice.

Clearly this was too easy...It's only 10AM!

Oh. I wasn't even thinking of Lizzie's sisters. I just assumed they'd changed the name of the lead.

Okay, Lily Allen as Lydia makes more sense.

And will Colin Firth be in all of your puzzles?

If only I could! The girly edition came out of the fact that I had a surplus of Firth photos.

Where do you guys find all these or do you make them up yourself?

We make them! Google Image Search is a huge help with finding the images you are looking for and then I pop them in to a grid and save a .jpg

    I do one every Thursday.
